Medium: Tapestry Weaving

Workshop Title: Creating Color Blends

Optical blending is a powerful tool in tapestry weaving. In this workshop you’ll explore color theory as we learn to mix yarn hues in the weft bundle and utilize techniques to expand our color use toolbox. Many different effects will be achieved with a small set of yarn hues paired with a variety of tapestry techniques. Requires basic understanding of tapestry techniques.

About The Instructor

Rebecca Mezoff

Rebecca Mezoff has been a full-time tapestry educator for a decade. With over 5,000 students in her online school, she still hasn’t heard all the questions. She is the author of “The Art of Tapestry Weaving”. Her personal work focuses on human perception and the long scale of geologic time.
