In 2025, we will offer two scholarships that cover full tuition ($910), and two that cover partial tuition ($600). NCSW Scholarships are available to a wide diversity of artists to provide professional development and educational experiences in the enriching and inspirational environment of the workshops. This scholarship is made possible through NCSW participants with funds raised at the previous workshops’ silent auction.
Goals:
To provide professional development experience for artists
To share the success of NCSW with more artists
To expand and enrich the arts community
Selection Criteria:
Must be an artist or craftsperson who aspires to work at a high level.
Provide up to five images of artwork/craft pieces showing artistic quality and strong artistic vision. Work samples must be completed in the last three years.
A written statement of how the scholarship would advance the applicant’s artistic growth in both the short and long term and the likely impact on the artist’s work and future direction.
A resume or statement of artistic experience especially with chosen medium.
