Workshop Title: Dimensional Layering & Integrated Closures
In this intensive 5-day workshop, students will master the art of building volume and depth with silver and other metals. The workshop focuses on layering techniques to transform flat sheet metal into 3-dimensional constructions. Participants begin by prototyping pendant designs and then elevate these samples into functional clasps. Students will create up to four samples, and finish pieces as time permits.
Intermediate level - soldering and sawing.

About The Instructor
Suzanne, who lives in Colorado, has a BFA in printmaking. She worked as a graphic artist, illustrator, fine artist, and technician in casting foundries before beginning her jewelry-making career in 1990. She is always developing new approaches to creating her signature 3-dimensional jewelry - integrating layering techniques and unconventional clasps and closures into her designs. She teaches those approaches and techniques online and in-person.
