Instructor: Patrick McCay

Medium: Mark-Making

Workshop Title: Anatomical Accuracy and Expressive Mark-Making

Using the live model, be guided through a continuum of dry and wet approaches to working with the figure; a developmental/fundamental observational beginning, moving into methods that are more expressive, combining anatomical accuracy and expressive mark making. Through examples and demonstrations students will be introduced to the use of the brayer on toned paper for an authoritative balance between accuracy and expression.
Open to all.
