Medium: Mixed Media 

Workshop Title: Make Your Mark

Explore how materials, processes, and scale work together. Make large, collaborative mixed media pieces as well as small personal drawings, paintings, and monotypes using pencils, pens, crayons, markers, brushes, brayers, ink, paint, sticks, rope, string, and nails. You will doodle, draw, incise, paint, print, create patterns, and explore various ways to make marks on paper. Emphasis is on experimentation. Open to all.

Susan Webster

Susan Webster

Susan Webster is a studio artist who lives in Deer Isle, Maine. She has taught at Haystack (ME), Penland (NC), Oregon College of Art and Crafts, Center for Contemporary Printmaking (CT), and Studio Art Works in Jerusalem, Israel. Susan has been an artist-in-residence at University of the Arts Borowsky Center (PA) and her work is in the permanent collections of the US Department of State's Art in Embassies Program.  Recent exhibits include Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Manhattan Graphics Center, Elizabeth A. Beland Gallery (MA), Concord Arts Gallery (MA), Southern Graphics Exhibit (LA), and Greenhut Gallery (ME).
