Medium: Suminagashi
Workshop Title: Suminagashi in Creative Practice
This workshop offers step-by-step instruction in the Suminagashi process, from ink-on-water techniques through printing. Participants select, layer, and cut their prints to create collaged compositions. Emphasis is placed on mindful making, experimentation, and personal theme development. Each participant will complete a finished collage balancing technical skill and individual expression.

About The Instructor
Sudi Wang
Sudi Wang (she/her/hers) is a printmaking artist based in Buffalo, New York. Her practice centers on process-based making, treating each step as an organic and meaningful part of her work. She earned her MFA from the University at Buffalo and has taught printmaking and Suminagashi at the Western New York Book Arts Center and the University at Buffalo.
