About The Class

Instructor: Leo Louise

Medium: Textured Wood

Workshop Title: Exploring Textured Wood Surfaces

This workshop introduces micromotor power carving as a playful and expressive way to add texture, pattern, and dimension to wood surfaces. Through demonstrations and guided exploration, experiment with designs inspired by nature, learn safe carving techniques, and explore painting and finishing options that bring work to life. Bring wooden objects to transform and reimagine.
Open to all; good manual dexterity recommended.

Check back for a list of supplies that you will need to bring for this workshop spring 2026.
